Topiary
Trials: Harboring a pent up artistic outlet, Marion has been experimenting
with topiary forms and growing them in the nursery for the past
few years. They add a bit of whimsy to our landscape projects.
Alligator, pig, horse, turtle, rabbit, chicken- we've tried many
different forms and learned a great deal from doing each of them.
We use a combination of hardy perennials and annuals. When a customer
decides they want one in their garden, we plan either to pick
it up for the winter or replant it in the spring. On of our customers,
Mrs. Frank, has four in her poolside landscape. She wanted something
fun and whimsical for the grandchildren to remember.
